Qaizar Hassonjee, Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer, Textronics Inc., is featured in The News Journal round up of Delaware based companies seeking earmark funding. The funds requested by Textronics will go towards research and development work to make it’s bio-monitoring electro-textile sensors robust enough for the harsh military environment. When worn as a bse layer garment the sensors are capable of monitoring and reporting details about a soldiers health and condition.

CNN series “Just Imagine….what life will be like in 2020” ran a story about technology in apparel called “Futuristic Fashions Will Fight Our Health Scares”.
